They are committed to recovering outstanding local varieties from the area to offer quality wine. The vine varieties that are planted are Picapoll Blanc, Sumoll, Mandó and Cabernet Franc.
Limited to 300 bottles. ENTREBOSC is commited to indigenous varieties of the area considered to be important in order to preserve and promote local vines that belong to the land they cultivate. Thus, all the wines are made with a variety of native grapes from D.O. Pla de Bages.
100% Cabernet Franc.
Once the harvest has been collected and the celler is prepared, the grapes are put through a cold soak process for a day.
After the selection process, the product is crushed, the skins removed and then go to the vat fermentation maceration. After about two weeks of maceration the product is pressed. Then it goes in to French oak barrels for twelve months and then is bottled.
Fermented and aged 12 months in French oak barrels and a few months in the bottle for its refinement.
The colour is an intense purple. The aromas that stand out are the spices like vanilla, pepper or cloves. When the wine is opened and allowed to breath it takes on an attractive character of red fruit of the wood. The influence of the barrel is very subtle and gives touches of a roasted flavour.
In the mouth the flavour is notable for its complexity with well integrated tannins that give it strength without losing it's velvet smoothness. It has a long and intense palate that leaves a cozy feeling at the end.
